The restless dead haunt the moors and lowlands of the North. Leaden clouds have all but ensured that sunlight is a rare sight and many have fled South to escape the biting cold and wandering hordes of undead and the rumours of even worse creatures stalking the night.

There are some who stayed to fight, and none fought more fiercely than Bonnie. Once known as the Claymore of the North she fell in defence of her people, and has long been thought dead. Though stories of sightings of her have began to spread, but she is not as she once was. Townsfolk speak of a red eyed and fanged being of rage incarnate striking down the undead in the darkness of night, wearing familiar dark leather armour and wielding a claymore that shines like obsidian. None can say for sure, but they insist that Bonnie has returned and is now known as the Claymore of the Night.
